Don’t Miss MS MR, The Vaccines, Wild Belle, & St. Lucia Performing at Lollapalooza This Year!

SATURDAY, AUG 3

St. Lucia @ The Grove Stage
2:15-3pm

Last week, Brooklyn-based synth-pop outfit St. Lucia announced the release of their full-length debut, “When The Night,” out October 8 via Neon Gold/Columbia Records. The album, which expands upon St. Lucia’s unique brand of dreamy, nostalgic pop, was produced by the band’s own Jean-Philip Grobler. Complex Magazine named the group one of “20 New Bands To Watch Out For,” while the Onion/A.V. Club describes their music as “pop perfection” and SPIN raves that St. Lucia’s “billowy textures and soaring choruses offer a potent elixir of tropical breezes and distilled sunshine.”
Listen to their just-released new track “Elevate” here.

SUNDAY, AUG 4

Wild Belle @ Lake Shore Stage
1:30-2:15pm

Wild Belle hail from Chicago and released their critically acclaimed debut album Isles earlier this year. The band will play Lollapalooza for the first time on Sunday, August 4.  Noted by the Chicago Tribune for their “breezy sounding pop music,” Wild Belle’s live performances have been recognized for their catchy hooks and infectious sound.

MS MR @ The Grove Stage
3:30-4:15pm

New York City based duo MS MR released their album Secondhand Rapture this May. The Daily Beast noted, at the duo’s sold-out album release show at Bowery Ballroom in June, that “Plapinger’s layered vocals are accentuated by Hershenow’s swirling, swelling electro-pop production replete with synths, drums, and electronic beats” delivering what Time Out New York calls “a finely crafted work of dream pop.” You won’t want to miss these guys at their Lollapalooza debut!

The Vaccines @ Petrillo Stage
5:30-6:30pm

The Vaccines will return to Lollapalooza this year to perform songs from their sophomore release Come Of Age and the band’s upcoming EP Melody Calling.  The Vaccines’ live performances are not to be missed, with the Chicago Tribune raving that The Vaccines “deliver the kind of set that should be required by law at music festivals with 2,000 bands clamoring for attention.”

MS MR & Two Door Cinema Club @ House of Blues (Aftershow)
