NEW RELEASES: Dublin based Noise Rockers Girl Band Premieres "Lawman" Single On Noisey

Check out the new Lawman single from ironically named noise rockers, Girl Band.  Here at ChiIL Live Shows, we've been liking what we've heard from these Dublin based boys.

The band is influenced by a mix of 70s post punk, 80s hardcore punk, with textures and song structures influenced by techno acts.  Their live show is known for being loud, intense and energetic.

Noisey recently premiered the track saying it "boasts no-wave muttering over a cacophony of defibrillated guitar, as the instruments are forced to glitch and burp within an inch of their lives." The single (due for release on January 20th in the US via Any Other City Records) includes the b-side "Heckle The Frames" and will be released on a limited run of 300 7" records, each screen-printed and hand stitched.  Lawman is the follow up to the band's 2012 debut EP France 1998.

THE TOSSERS PREMIERE “USA” MUSIC VIDEO (10/7)

Chicago’s Irish pride and joy, THE TOSSERS, have teamed up with ARTISTDirect to premiere the music video for “USA”, an anthemic track from their current album, The Emerald City. “USA” follows vocalist Tony Duggins through the neighborhoods and streets of Chicago, includes current and past performances, and visits some of the band’s haunts. Paying homage to their country, heritage, hometown, and loved ones, THE TOSSERS never forget where they came from.
