Here's what The Cribs have to say:
So here's the video for our new single "Come On, Be A No-One"! Our good friend Patrick Stanton made this with us, while we were doing a short UK tour a couple of weeks ago....we usually hate making videos so this seemed like a good way of getting around all that extra nonsense that comes with the typical video shoot. Not good for self-conscious types like us.
Anyway, we love it - no make-up, soft lighting, or posing - just some good rocking...or whatever. Check it out!" - The Cribs
The official video for 'Come On, Be A No-One', the brand new single from The Cribs, is currently premiering on the Noisey YouTube Channel. Set for release on 16th April, 'Come On, Be A No-One' is the first single to be taken from band's forthcoming album 'In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull' which is out on May 15th through Wichita Recordings.
This video premiere of 'Come On, Be A No-One' marks the latest from the Noisey YouTube channel's ever expanding presence as a world-leading online music destination. ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’ is the fifth studio album from Wakefield trio The Cribs. The recording process for this album saw the band split their time between Abbey Road in London, Steve Albini’s EAR studio in Chicago, and David Fridmann’s Tarbox Road studio in Upstate New York which is where ‘Come On, Be a No-One’ was born.
Released on April 16th, ‘Come On, Be A No-One’ is available via Wichita Recordings on 7” (WEBB337s) and digitally (WEBB337sdl) through all usual outlets.
The Cribs will be playing songs from ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’ and their four previous albums when they play selected shows this spring.
