He(Art): Art for Our Sake is both an exhibition and a creative call to action. Its purpose is to bring artists and citizens of Chicago together to celebrate and investigate the power and opportunity inherent in arts engagement, and to work together to discover how art can be used as a tool to contribute to the cultural development of Chicago's community. The exhibition will feature work created in Chicago Artery's free workshops as well as select works made by artists from all over Chicago. 20% of proceeds from artworks sold will go to Chicago Artery to facilitate future programming and expansion.

Chicago Artery will host free art workshops at Gorilla Tango Bucktown throughout October. Workshops will be facilitated by leading Chicago arts educators and are appropriate for all ages and levels of experience. For details about workshops, docent hours, and how to participate, visit gorillatango.com
