ACT OUT: Jane Eyre at Lifeline Through October 26th

Jane Eyre is high on our must see list. The fall theatre season has been so full, we haven't had time to catch it yet, but we've been hearing great things. Also, our friend, Ada Grey (10), youngest critic in town, and her dad are both in it, so there's extra incentive to go. You may remember her as the creepy little girl in The House Theatre's The Iron Stag King, another show she was in with her dad. Many of the Jane Eyre performances, especially weekend shows, are sold out, so don't miss out. Get your tickets today.

"★★★ Streamlines the complicated plot while providing compelling glimpses of the psychological demons and moral deformities haunting its lovers... stark but effective staging choices" -Chicago Tribune

"All the complexities of Jane's life and the atmosphere of the novel are translated into sights, sounds, and emotions in front of us." -Time Out Chicago

"Dorothy Milne's expressionistic direction moves the story along... every actor here is in top form" -Chicago Reader

Jane Eyre runs Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 4pm & 8pm, and Sundays at 4pm, through October 26.

After a troubled childhood, Jane Eyre searches for new purpose as a governess at Thornfield Hall.
