ZED is gearing up for the release on their sophomore album Desperation Blues May 21^st via I:AND:I Recordings. Today the band has partnered with Noisecreep to debut another song from the album. Check out the debut of the song "Skin and Bones" HERE.

San Francisco Bay Area's ZED takes it cues from the greats like Zeppelin, Sabbath and AC/DC, but combines them with their contemporary musical influences such as Clutch, Rage Against the Machine and Queens of the Stone Age, creating a mixture that is new, yet familiar. With this explosive sound they are bringing back the guts, the grit and the balls to Rock. And they won't stop until they succeed. At least in getting drunk and having a good time.

In June of 2012 ZED entered Sonic Room Studios with Tim Narducci engineering and producing their sophomore album Desperation Blues. With the studio expertise that he gained from working with greats like Bob Rock (Metallica, The Cult) and Howard Benson (P.O.D., My Chemical Romance), Narducci was able to harness the raw energy and essence of ZED in a way that had not been done before. And what they came out with was 46 minutes of giant, hook filled riffing, crafted into 10 songs that make up one beast of an album.

New York Metallers PRONG have confirmed that they will be heading over to Europe this Summer. The band is scheduled to play a handful of festival dates as well as a string of headline dates. Currently, the tour is scheduled to kick off June 23rd in Clisson, France at Hellfest and will run through July 14th in Serbia at Exit Fest. Earth Rocker will also be featured on WSOU's "Pirated Advance" this Friday night at 9 PM EST. WSOU is an award winning all metal college radio station located on the campus of Seton Hall University. The "Pirated Advance" is a special feature where the radio station plays Earth Rocker in its entirety and gives fans a chance to win the album before they can buy it. The band is continuing to take radio by storm, the title track and debut single made it to number 1 on WSOU and is being played heavily on SiriusXM Liquid Metal and Faction, as well as by Full Metal Jackie and has hit the top 10 at CMJ Loud Rock. "Crucial Velocity" the second single from Earth Rocker has just been released and is making a big impact already. The song has been added at multiple stations across the country and more are adding it daily. The band has also release a lyric video for "Crucial Velocity". They will play two official "SXSW" shows.   The first show is the indiemerchstore.com showcase Friday, March 15th at 1100 Warehouse. Doors open at 6:30 PM and CLUTCH will headline the show and perform at 12:15 AM. Admission is free with SXSW Badge and for Wristband holders.
