I caught Clutch's tour kick off in Chicago at Riot Fest, and the guys were at the peak of their game, rocking hard despite the sun and heat. Their 45 minute set left fans wanting more.

Despite a tough time slot opposite Suicidal Tendencies, Clutch had a huge draw and the stage was packed.

Here at ChiILLiveShows.com, we've been CLUTCH fans since the early 90's. It's great to see the band gaining some long overdue acclaim. They've been uncompromising about their unique sound, even when it wasn't a commercial success, and steadfastly stuck to what they loved to play. This scrappy foursome was ahead of their time, and now rock, funk and metal fans have finally caught up to them and realized what they were missing.

CLUTCH RELEASE BRAND NEW 2019 STUDIO RECORDING OF CLASSIC SINGLE "ELECTRIC WORRY" 

IN ITS PUREST FORM AS PART OF THE

"WEATHERMAKER VAULT SERIES"

Clutch announce the release of "Electric Worry." The single is the third in a series of new studio recordings that comprise the newly launched Weathermaker Vault Series and the first new official music Clutch is making available since the release of their critically acclaimed album, Book Of Bad Decisions.
The new live video uses footage from various 2019 European Summer festivals and can be seen here.

When “Electric Worry” was released in 2007 on the album “From Beale Street To Oblivion” nobody knew that this track would turn into one of Clutch’s most recognizable songs. It is a fan favorite and a staple at live shows. Over the course of time, the song went through changes. What you are listening to here is a brand new studio recording of the 2019 live version of the song without the keyboards and harmonica that are on the 2007 rendition. This is “Electric Worry” in its purest form.

“Electric Worry” was mixed by 6X Grammy Award winner and Clutch collaborator, Vance Powell (Wolfmother, The Raconteurs, Arctic Monkeys). 

"All in all it's just a leaner, meaner song” states vocalist Neil Fallon. “We wanted to put something out there that was representative of what we do these days since it happens to be one of our most popular songs."

On Friday, September 20th, Clutch will embark on a Fall tour of the US with Dropkick Murphys along with metalcore veterans Hatebreed as direct support.

CLUTCH Announces Denver Radio Show Appearance for December 21st

Earth Rocker World Tour to Kick off in January 2013   Mark your calendars and catch Clutch on the radio 12/21.   Their world wide tour dates for December through early February are below.    Check back with ChiIL Live Shows like we vote in Chi, IL...early and often.   ChiIL Live Shows has an exclusive video interview with Clutch frontman, Neil Fallon, coming soon.  We also have live show shots and will be keeping you posted about their new release Earth Rocker.     Before they hit the road for their annual Holiday run, CLUTCH have confirmed that they will be headlining the KBPI "When Hell Freezes Over" set for December 21st in Denver, CO at the Fillmore Auditorium. Drummer Jean-Paul Gaster commented on the upcoming Denver Radio Performance: "We are excited to go back to Denver; it has been a while since we played there. We are even more excited to play some of the new songs from Earth Rocker that night." As mentioned CLUTCH will play a string of Holiday tour dates this December. The dates kick off December 26th in Washington, DC and conclude with a special New Year's Eve performance in Worcester, MA at The Palladium. The show originally scheduled for December 30th at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ has been moved to Allentown, PA at Crocodile Rock due to damage sustained from Hurricane Sandy. The official statement from Starland Ballroom regarding the cancellation and ticket refund information is below: "Due to damages to the Starland Ballroom sustained as a result of Hurricane Sandy, it is necessary to cancel our scheduled shows at the Sayreville, NJ venue on December 30th, 2012.  Fans that have purchased tickets to any upcoming shows at the Starland Ballroom may redeem their tickets for a full refund from the original point of purchase.  Refunds for tickets purchased at Starland Ballroom's Box Office can be turned-in for a full refund plus service fees during new hours of operation - Thursdays and Fridays from 3-6pm and Saturdays from 11am-2pm. The Box Office will not be open on Thanksgiving." Tickets for the Allentown show will go on sale this Friday November 15th. CLUTCH is wrapping up the summer on the European leg of their "Earth Rocker" World Tour which saw the band playing to sold-out houses at their headline shows as well as numerous festival appearances.  The band will back stateside after two sold out shows in Greece this weekend. But before they land in Maryland, singer Neil Fallon will appear as a featured guest on VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" hosted by Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine.  The episode premieres tomorrow on VH1 Classic at 11:00 PM EDT.  Neil appears alongside guests Ricky Warwick and Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy/Black Star Riders) whom CLUTCH has toured Previously toured with in the UK.  For more information visit the "That Metal Show" site HERE.
