Indie-electro band Astro will be performing at Lollapalooza Sunday August 4th at 12:45pm on the Red Bull Sound Select stage
Featured in NPR Music’s “Top 50 Albums of 2012,” Astro’s self-titled debut was celebrated by NPR: “There's not a single track on this record that I don't love; that hasn't gotten me antsy in my seat to dance.”
The New York Times also raved: “Astro carries the legacy of smart, whimsical, catchy Latin alternative rock into the new electro-pop era, as if Café Tacvba were reprogrammed by Animal Collective and MGMT … a joy that needs no translation.”
LA’s tastemaker radio station KCRW has been a strong supporter, praising their “electro-indie-rock sound mixed with a feverish enthusiasm, playful songwriting, and immaculate production that elevates it above the rest.”
